Free introductory consultation

I offer a free one-hour introductory consultation. This will allow you to explain your story without being charged immediately. During the introductory consultation, we will explore together whether and in what way I could be of service to you as a lawyer. During this conversation, I will address general cost aspects, such as my hourly rate, expenses, and so on. Information on the cost involved are also available on the ‘cost page’ of this website. Furthermore, I will explain my mode of operation.

After the introductory consultation

The introductory consultation is without obligations. It does not entail any obligations towards each other. As a consequence, we may just have this conversation and decide not to work together.

Should we decide to work together after the introductory meeting, I will send you an offer with terms and conditions. This includes a description of what services I will provide to you or your company, what my hourly fee is, and what other terms and conditions will apply between us. If you agree, you will return a signed offer and terms and conditions with your passport details. Only after receiving these signed documents, a contract for services is established and I can start to provide services to you or your company.

I do not offer government-funded legal aid (assignment of counsel). Please check your eligibility for government-funded legal aid through the Dutch Legal Aid Board on www.rvr.org, to avoid unnecessary legal fees.
